WHS Educators Nominated for Outstanding Educator Award

Two Winchester High School teachers were nominated by high school graduates entering the University of Chicago.

Winchester High School faculty members David Benedetto and Mark Chase have been nominated for the University of Chicago's Outstanding Educator Award. 

This distinguished award has existed for more than 30 years. Entering freshmen at the University of Chicago are invited to nominate teachers who have changed them, challenged them or helped them along the path toward intellectual growth.

Benedetto and Chase were nominated by Winchester High graduates entering the University of Chicago.

Benedetto has taught chemistry and physics at WHS for eight years.  

Chase has taught history and psychology in the Social Studies Department for six years.
