WHS Girls' Hockey Falls to Burlington in MIAA Tournament
The no. 21 ranked Winchester High School girls' hockey team lost to no. 12 Burlington 3-1 Monday night in the preliminary round of the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) tournament.

Burlington (12-7-1) advances to the second round of the North Division 2 tournament to take on no. 5 ranked Gardner (11-4-2). A time and location for the second-round game have yet to be determined.
Winchester ended the season having lost four consecutive games, with their last non-loss being a 1-1 tie against Woburn at home Feb. 6. Winchester's last win was a 5-0 blanking of Belmont in Winchester Feb. 2.

Winchester, which also lost to Burlington 6-3 at Burlington Jan. 19, finishes the year with an overall record of 10-10-1.
