Winchester Native To Perform in Local Comedy Show

The NextDoor Theater will be showing "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" beginning this week.

This Friday, the presents a comic musical that centers around a fictional spelling bee set in a geographically ambiguous Putnam Valley Middle School.

Six adolescents, played by professional adult actors from the Boston area, compete in the Bee, run by three grown-ups. A unique aspect of the show is that four real audience members are invited on stage to compete in the spelling bee alongside the six young characters.

Winchester native Keil Coit will appear as "Leaf Coneybear" in the NextDoor Theater's production of "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" opening this Friday and running for three weekends.
