Winchester Woman Receives Academic Awards at Connecticut College

Find out which Winchester resident earned the academic awards at Connecticut College.

A Winchester woman recently received academic awarda at Connecticut College, according to a press statement.

Alexandra Bolles, of Winchester, is a senior at Connecticut College and recently was awarded the R. Francis Johnson Prize in Religious Studies for outstanding achievement in academic study in religion, and the Sociology Department Prize which is given to a graduating senior who has achieved excellence in the major and who, as a consequence, is inducted into Alpha Kappa Delta, the International Sociology Honor Society, according to the statement.

Bolles received the award at the annual Honors & Awards ceremony at Connecticut College on May 8, according to the statement.

Bolles, a 2009 Winchester High School graduate, is the daughter of Suzanne and DeVallon Bolles of Winchester, according to the statement.
