1. (1) Everett (4-0) (1A, Greater Boston League): The Crimson Tide , leading 34-7 late and coming away with a 34-21 win. On offense, Jonathan DiBiaso threw for four TDs, two to big-play receiver Jakarrie Washington. On defense, Joey White recovered a fumble and went 80 yards to paydirt, while Jalen Felix had two interceptions. The Crimson Tide will host Taunton at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

(2) BC High (2-2) (1, Catholic Conference): It’d be hard to penalize the Eagles for losing 35-19 to visiting St. Peter’s Prep of New Jersey, a football powerhouse that has West Virginia-bound Brandon Napoleon under center. The Eagles are 2-0 so far against Bay State opponents, with lopsided wins over Brockton and Chelmsford, and 0-2 against those from the Garden State. They’ll get a chance to show their true worth at 7 p.m. Friday when they open Catholic Conference play at home against Central Catholic.

3. (3) Xaverian (4-0) (1, Catholic Conference): The Hawks’ defense held visiting Somerville to less than 100 yards of total offense – and two yards rushing – in . D.J. Pagliuca had two long touchdown receptions, before the Hawks’ second-stringers came in for the second half. The Hawks have now outscored opponents 122-12 on the season. They’ll host undefeated Duxbury at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

4. (5) Catholic Memorial (2-1) (1, Catholic Conference): At this point, the Knights opening 24-0 loss at Marshfield seems like the distant pass. The Knights went to Nashua, N.H., Friday and walloped Bishop Guertin 42-0. Penn State-bound athlete Armani Reeves had three touchdowns – two rushing, one receiving. They’ll host Hingham at 7 p.m. Friday.

5. (6) Lincoln-Sudbury (4-0) (1A, Dual County League): The two-headed running attack of Brian Carroll and Chris Giorgio carved up Framingham, as the Warriors took . Quarterback Matt Cahill threw two TD passes to receiver Jack Harris, while backup QB Henry Guild ran for two TDs. The Warriors will travel to Waltham tonight for a 7 p.m. contest.

6. (8) Chelmsford (3-1) (1, Merrimack Valley Conference): Senior running back Eddie Sheridan had 128 yards from scrimmage and 3 TDs in the Lions . Defensive back Connor Brimley had a pick-six. The Lions will host Methuen at 7 p.m. tonight.

7. (9) Andover (3-1) (1, Merrimack Valley Conference): After , the Warriors rebounded with . Quarterback C.J. Scarpa completed 18-28 passes for close to 300 yards and two TDs; he also ran for a touchdown. Star running back Andrew Coke was converted to a slot receiver in the Warriors new-look offense, and he caught eight balls for 115 yards. Receiver Will Heikkenen led the way with seven catches for 151 yards and two scores. The Warriors will travel to Lawrence tonight for a 7 p.m. game.

8. (4) Weymouth (3-1) (1, Bay State Conference): The Wildcats . Quarterback Cam McLevedge had three touchdown passes – two to Khary Bailey-Smith – but Needham’s Drew Burnett also threw for three TDs, and Needham’s Ian Riley rushed for close to 200 yards with three TDs – two rushing, one receiving. The Wildcats turned the ball over five times, with three interceptions and two fumbles. They’ll look to get back on track at home against Newton North at 7 p.m. Friday.

9. (10) Billerica (3-1) (1, Merrimack Valley Conference): Matt Clifford took a kick back 94 yards for a touchdown, caught a touchdown and ran one in all in the first half, as the Indians trounced Dracut 40-14. In all, Clifford had about 250 total yards and an interception on defense. Quarterback Nick LaSpada also had a pick on defense, while throwing for more than 200 yards and scoring three TDs – two passing, one rushing – on offense. Running back Byron Ramirez had a big day on the ground; receiver Willie Ricard also impressed. The Indians will host a surging Tewksbury team at 7 p.m. Friday.

10. (Unranked) Needham (3-1) (1, Bay State Conference): The Rockets bypass the Bubble and land at the No. 10 spot after an impressive . The Rockets’ defense forced five turnovers, while quarterback Drew Burnett threw for three TDs and running back Ian Riley had three as well – two rushing, one receiving. They’ll look to keep their momentum going at 1 p.m. Sunday at Brookline.

DIVISIONS 2, 2A

1. (1) Duxbury (4-0) (2, Patriot League): Senior quarterback Matt O’Keefe had more than 230 yards passing, more than 70 rushing, to go along with his four TDs, as the Green Dragons rolled over Whitman-Hanson 37-0. Receiver Joe Guilfoile caught two TD passes. The Green Dragons will have their toughest test yet Saturday when they travel to Xaverian for a 1:30 p.m. game.

2. (2) Walpole (4-0) (2A, Bay State Conference): The Rebels stayed perfect, as quarterback Tom Donnellen threw for more than 200 yards and three TDs in a 41-3 rout of Milton. The Rebels will host 3-1 Norwood at 7 p.m. tonight in a game that could shake up the Bay State Conference standings.

3. (4) Mansfield (3-1) (2, Hockomock League): Running back Greg Donahue had 120 yards on the ground, as the Hornets () to rebound from . The Hornets will travel to Sharon today for a 3:30 p.m. contest.

4. (5) Dennis-Yarmouth (4-0) (2A, Atlantic Coast League): Speedster Damion Johnson took a punt back 85 yards to the house and Dylan Hodsdon ran in two TDs, as the Dolphins took care of Falmouth 41-8 to stay unbeaten. The Dolphins will be at Plymouth North at 7 p.m. Friday.

5. (3) Dracut (2-2) (2, Merrimack Valley Conference): The Middies have now lost two-in-a-row, with a 40-14 defeat against Billerica. Zach Bassett had two touchdowns in the loss – one rushing, one receiving. Unfortunately for the Middies, their Merrimack Valley Conference schedule doesn’t get any easier, as they’ll be at 3-1 Lowell, then 2-2 Tewksbury, before hosting 3-1 Chelmsford and 3-1 Andover in their next four games. They’ll face Lowell at 7 p.m. Friday.

6. (8) Swampscott (4-0) (2A, Cape Ann League): The Big Blue forced six – yes, six – turnovers in a 33-19 win over a tough Lynn English squad. Next up, they’ll face a Triton team, which has now won three-in-a-row, at 7 p.m. tonight at home.

7. (10) Burlington (3-1) (2A, Middlesex League): Junior running back Marcus Odiah ran for more than 200 yards and four TDs, the as the Red Devils beat Woburn 34-26 in a key Middlesex League game. Odiah and teammate Kyle Shields, who ran for close to 100 yards and a score, form one of the best one-two punches in the state. Woburn’s Chucky Ortiz ran for more than 150 yards and three TDs in the loss. The Red Devils will host Reading at 6 p.m. tonight.

8. (6) King Philip (3-1) (2, Hockomock League): Charles Ruffin ran for more than 150 yards and two scores on the ground, but the Warriors were () for their first loss of the season. They’ll travel to undefeated Oliver Ames Friday for a 7 p.m. contest.

9. (7) North Attleborough (4-0) (2, Hockomock League): The Rocketeers’ defense had another impressive showing in a 7-3 win over Franklin. They’ve now only given up a measly six points in their last three games. They’ll look to stay unbeaten when they host Stoughton at 7 p.m. tonight.

10. (9) Melrose (4-0) (2A, Middlesex League): Running backs C.J. Hanson and Spencer Walsh each had a touchdown and a number of yards on the ground – Hanson 130, Walsh over 80 – as the Red Raiders beat Reading 14-12 to stay perfect. The Red Raiders will host Lexington at 6 p.m. tonight.

On the Bubble: Natick (3-1), Norwood (3-1), Beverly (3-1), Wakefield (3-1)

 

Best of the Rest: DIVISIONS 3, 3A, 4, 4A, 5

1. (1) Concord-Carlisle (4-0) (3, Dual County League): The Patriots continued to roll in a 40-14 rout of Newton South. They’ll host Boston Latin today at 3:30 p.m.

2. (2) Holliston (3-1) (3, Tri-Valley League): Quarterback Dan Barone might have to start paying admission if he goes to the end zone any more often. After a five touchdown performance last week, Barone had four this week – three passing, one rushing – in . The Panthers will be at Bellingham at 7 p.m. tonight.

3. (3) East Bridgewater (4-0) (4, South Shore League): The Vikings followed up a 47-0 win at North Quincy with a 28-7 victory over Hull. They’ll host Cohasset at 7 p.m. tonight.

4. (4) Cardinal Spellman (4-0) (4, Catholic Central League): Running back Pat Hinkley had three TDs, as the Cardinals went on the road to shutout Middleborough 37-0. They’ll travel to Coyle & Cassidy Friday for a 7 p.m. game.

5. (5) Hopkinton (4-0) (3, Tri-Valley League): Quarterback Mike Decina had three TDs – one passing, two rushing – including the game winner, as the Hillers defeated Weston 21-14. They’ll host Dover-Sherborn at 7 p.m. tonight.

6. (6) St. Mary’s (4-0) (4, Catholic Central League): The Spartans took care of business with a 40-16 win over Lynnfield. They’ve now scored 30 or more points in every game thus far – and 40 or more in their last three. They’ll host North Shore at 7 p.m. Saturday.

7. (7) Westwood (4-0) (3, Tri-Valley League): Running back Brandon Rodenbush had 140 yards on the ground and three TDs, including a pick-six, as the Wolverines . They’ll be at Medfield at 7 p.m. tonight.

8. (8) Arlington Catholic (4-0) (4, Catholic Central League): Alec Matys had three interceptions, as the Cougars . They’ll have this week off, before traveling to St. Mary’s Saturday, Oct. 15, for a huge league game at 7 p.m.

9. (9) Oliver Ames (3-0) (3, Hockomock League): The Tigers are coming off a bye week. They’ll have by far their toughest test yet when they host King Philip at 7 p.m. Friday.

10. (On the Bubble) Pembroke (3-0) (3, Patriot League): The Titans are also coming off a bye week. They’ll look to stay perfect when they host Martha’s Vineyard at 6 p.m. tonight.
