Kids Summer Ultimate Frisbee

The Boston Ultimate Disc Alliance (BUDA) announces its 2012 Youth Summer League. This learning league is an opportunity for boys and girls entering grades 5-9 to learn the basics of the game of Ultimate frisbee. The league, offered for six sessions over three weeks, will cover basics of throwing, catching, cutting, strategy and rules. Ultimate frisbee is a non-contact field sport and is great fun for boys and girls. Participants need a water bottle and soccer cleats, and play in a safe, well- supervised environment. A low student/coach ratio ensures lots of playing time and individual instruction. The six-session course is offered on Monday/Wednesday, July 9- July 25 from 5:00-7:00PM. Registration is through Lexington Recreation and is open to students from all communities. For more information please visit www.buda.org/yp/YouthLeague.
