Girls Volley Ball Playing for the Cure Friday Night

The Winchester Sachems Girls Volleyball team will play against the Woburn Tanners, both sporting pink jerseys for a charity game for a cancer cure.

"Our players are excited to step up and take part in this project,” Winchester Head Coach John Fleming said in a press release. “Serve for the Cure is always the highlight of our regular season and spectators will be treated to a spirited series of volleyball games. It’s especially great for our senior players.  Our inaugural Serve for the Cure event was when these players were young freshman and they have watched the evening grow through their high school careers.”

The game begins at 5:30 p.m. with Freshman and Junior Varsity matches followed by the Varsity teams going head to head at 7p.m.
