Winchester Pop Warner's cheerleaders kick it into high gear.
The second season of the Winchester Pop Warner Cheerleading program has officially begun with practices being held four nights a week.
The girls are bonding and learning about teamwork, citizenship friendship and fitness and having a blast doing it, according to coach Maria O'Connor.
"We are so excited that the program has grown by more than 50 percent this year," she said. "The girls are very energetic and eager to learn more and more."
