Sachem Youth Football and Cheerleading Give Back to Community
Once a year the program holds a community service day.
The Sachem Youth Football and Cheerleading program held its annual community service day on Monday, Oct. 24. The program that has over 125 members on the roster for the 2011 season spent the afternoon working on the grounds of the in Winchester. The focus was on trash clean up around the rear entrance of the school, t bleachers and the skate board park. A variety of plantings were also planted at the base of the field’s scoreboard.
