Winchester High School is currently looking for a new athletic director, Superintendent William McAlduff announced during a recent School Committee meeting.
On Thursday night, McAlduff told the committee that Brian Carroll's last day as athletic director was July 15. Carroll served as the school's athletic director since 2008.

McAlduff said that he has appointed Jack Squeglia, who has served as assistant athletic director at Winchester High since September 1985, according to Squeglia's LinkedIn profile, as interim athletic director.

"I expect that there will be a (good) candidate pool, and we will be going through the process of looking for an athletic director," McAlduff said, adding that the position would be advertised starting Sunday, Aug. 4.
The deadline for applicants to submit their application is Aug. 16, according to a job posting on Monster. The job posting adds that applicants should submit letter of interest, resume, three letters of reference, transcripts and Mass. licensure to: Winchester Public Schools, Human Resources, 40 Samoset Road, Winchester, MA 01890.

Applications can also be emailed to wpsjobs@winchester.k12.ma.us.
