Winchester Soccer To Donate Turkeys [Add Your Sports Photos]

The boys soccer teams are donating a turkey to the Pine Street Inn for every goal that they score this season. The Varsity, JV and Freshman teams have scored 70 goals combined so far. 

For each goal scored, a tag is placed on the fence at . Each one of these tags represents a turkey that will be donated to the Pine Street Inn.   

After each game, the player who got the assist on any goal scored adds a tag to the fence.  

The Varsity team is currently 10-1-2 and is playing Woburn this afternoon at Knowlton Field at 3:45 p.m. The Sachems are currently in first place, and are trying to defend their 2010 Middlesex League Championship. Woburn (7-2-5) is in second place in Middlesex League Large, trailing Winchester by one point.
