Why Go? Other than it being one of the most talked about events of the year, you don't want to miss out on the plethora of activities, food and entertainment provided by your neighbors. See a including information about street closing and possible cancellations.

Price: The event itself is free. Individual activities have varying prices.

When/where: Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.;

Why Go? Take a break from the hustle of Town Day and be in the presence of local celebrities varying from authors to artists who will all be available to sign and discuss their work.

Price: Free

When/where: Sunday starting at 9 a.m. with registration at 8 a.m.; Meet at Madeline English School in Everett.

Why Go? This annual event draws in cyclists of all levels to enjoy a 20-mile ride to Lynn/Nahant Beach or a 14-mile ride to the Saugus River to raise money for the development of the Northern Strand Community Trail.

Price: $15 and includes lunch

When/where: 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 4 p.m. Sunday;  Theatre in Arlington

Why Go? It's the final show of the season at the award-winning theatre. It's based on the semi-autobiographical novel by Carl Reiner, depicting his own introduction to live theater.

Price: $20, group discounts available

5.

When/where: 10 a.m. Saturday; Meet at the Bellevue Pond parking area on South Border Road in Medford

Why Go? Enjoy the warm weather while touring the the southernmost part of the Middlesex Fells Reservation on the Skyline, Reservoir and Cross Fells trails on foot. It's a guided tour that will end with a visit to Pine Hill and Wright’s Tower.
