Muraco Elementary brought the idea of open-air education to the state of Massachusetts. The school is named after Francis J. Muraco who died in the Vietnam War. The school is committed engaging the community and encourages curiosity, risk-taking, active learning and individuals who respect themselves as well as each other. It is also dedicated to creating responsible community members who possess the highest standards of excellence.
