My teenage kids and I went to The Rodeo Mexican Grille for dinner on a Wednesday night @5:00. A very neat and clean place with Mexican decor. The wait staff was attentive seating us and taking drink orders in short time. Fresh home made salsa and chips were promptly brought to the table. More chips than salsa, but they were happy to bring a fresh dish of salsa when asked, more chips too even though we didn't ask for them. We ordered traditional mexican food: fajitas, tacos and quesidillas. All very good with generous side dishes of black beans and mexican rice. The rice was a bit al dente but that's a small thing. Soft drinks were filled for free. They offer beer and wine as well. Dessert was churros sprinkled with cinnamon sugar with just a drizzling of chocolate, delicious! I will definitely go again and try some of the more traditional items on the menu. They offer BBQ items too, perhaps the reason for the "Rodeo" in the name. They have a long list of lunch specials as well. Give this place a try. There is a small bar with TV . Plenty of parking in the back. It's a bit off the beaten path for Winchester, but a destination Swanton Street can be proud of.
