Since 1927, Winchester Shoe Hospital has passed through the generations of the Caros family. Currently John Caros handles the family trade. He is a cobbler and one of few remaining in the area. Winchester Shoe Hospital has been repairing shoes, boots and pumps for more than 80 years. Winchester Shoe hospital can also help dye shoes to specific colors and will clean and shine worn shoes. There is a small retail section of laces, polishes and other accessories.
