Two women were standing at the doorway of the home, with firefighters arriving moments later, according to the report. Paramedics began to treat one of the women for a severe burn to her right leg, according to the report. Boston Police: Three New Bombing Suspects in Custody

Officials stress there is no threat to the public, details still emerging.

Boston Police announced a major new development in the Boston Marathon bombing case Wednesday morning. According to the department, there are three new suspects in custody. Boston Police tweeted the news just after 11 a.m. Wednesday. There were no further details, though the police said they would offer more information soon. There is no additional information being released at the moment. BPD said additional details will be provided when they become available.  Police stressed there was no immediate threat to the public. The Winchester native and MBTA police officer was seriously injured in a shoot-out with the Boston Marathon bombing suspects in Watertown.

Winchester native Richard "Dic" Donohue, the police officer shot in a firefight with the Boston Marathon bombing suspects, thanked the community for its support as he recovers from serious injuries. Donohue, 33, of Woburn, a police officer with the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority, was shot in the leg and lost a massive amount of blood.  Here is a letter Donohue wrote in a posting on the MBTA Transit Police blog: I cannot begin to properly thank everyone involved in my recovery, as many fearless individuals stepped up and acted heroically that night. FBI: Three Classmates Destroyed Bombing Evidence to Help Friend

The Dartmouth men joked with Tsarnaev about his resemblance to the FBI suspect photos, then “freaked out” when they concluded it was really him.

Federal law officials believe three classmates of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev destroyed evidence in Darmouth while the suspected bombing brothers fought police in a gunfight in Watertown. In a complaint filed in federal court Wednesday, special agent Scott Cieplik claims suspect Dias Kadyrbayev and Azamat Tazhayakov destroyed or concealed a laptop and backpack filled with fireworks. Third suspect Robel Phillipos, meanwhile, is being charged with lying to federal officials. According to the complaint, the April 18 night started when Kadyrbayev texted Tsarnaev, needling his friend about his resemblance to the FBI photos released earlier that day. A police officer with Winchester ties who was seriously hurt in a gunfight with the Boston Marathon bombing suspects continues to recover from life-threatening injuries. Richard "Dic" Donohue Jr., 33, of Woburn, was hit in the thigh April 19 during a shoot-out in Watertown. Authorities are looking into whether Donohue Jr. may have been hit by friendly fire. Donohue is a police officer with the Massachusetts Bay Tranportation Authority. His wife, Kim, is from Exeter and graduated from Exeter High School in 2000. Winchester native and MBTA Officer Richard "Dic" Donohue Jr., who was injured in a firefight with the Boston Marathon bombing suspects, is recovering well at Mount Auburn Hospital, according to his brother Ed Donohue.

MBTA Officer Richard "Dic" Donohue Jr. is awake and doing "awesome" while recovering at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, his brother and Winchester Police Officer Ed Donohue, told CBS Boston. Donohue Jr., a Winchester native, was wounded during a shoot-out with the Boston Marathon bombing suspect in Watertown. Donohue Jr., 33, of Woburn, was hit in the leg during an early-morning shoot-out on April 19 in Watertown, authorities said. Authorities are investigating whether Donohue Jr. may have been hit by friendly fire. Authorities Investigating Whether MBTA Officer Donohue was Hit by Friendly Fire

The Boston Globe reported that the Massachusetts State Police confirmed that Winchester native and MBTA Officer Richard Donohue Jr. may have been hit by a bullet fired by a fellow officer.

Authorities are looking into whether Winchester native and MBTA Officer Richard Donohue Jr., who is recovering at Mount Auburn Hospital after he was wounded during a shoot-out with the Boston Marathon bombing suspect, was perhaps struck by friendly fire, the Boston Globe reported. State Police spokesman David Procopio confirmed Thursday that the investigation is underway, according to the Globe. It states that Donohue, 33, of Woburn, was struck in the leg by a bullet which is embedded in his leg. The Globe quotes two law enforcement sources who asked not to be identified about the investigation.
