Even though it's a busy intersection, the park remains as quiet and peaceful as if it were an island in the middle of the ocean. From the edge of the park you can look across Wedge Pond and catch a glimpse of children swimming at Borggaard Beach. It's a pleasant walk to take with your family or a pet. Whatever you do, make sure to bring a camera; you never know when you might catch a glimpse of the family of swans or ducks that call this area their home.

There are plenty of other fishermen at the edge of the pond trying to reel in the catch-of-the-day. There is no parking lot at the pond, but there is a limited amount of street parking. Just be sure to get there early if you want a spot.

This 11-acre wooded area is a good hiking spot. It is located at the very end of Andrews Road, and you can park your carMore at the end of the street. At the beginning of the trail, there is a steep incline, which is a little rocky, so be sure you come prepared. This trail is meant for true hikers, as the slope of the hills will be a slight challenge for some. But once you get to the top, it is well worth the trip for the view.
