After winning 10 medals at five world championships, Winchester gymnast Alicia Sacramone is calling it a career, according to The Boston Globe.

After winning 10 medals at five world championships, Winchester gymnast Alicia Sacramone is calling it a career, according to a Boston Globe report. Sacramone, 25, attempted a comeback after rupturing her Achilles' tendon and nearly made last year's U.S. team for the London Olympics, but missed the cut, according to the Globe. The veteran gymnast capturing four golds and a silver at the 2008 Olympics games at five world championships, making her the most decorate global American gymnast, according to the Globe. Emir Ikanovic of 16L Veterans Avenue in Everett was arrested and charged with breaking and entering in the daytime with intent to commit a felony. Winchester gymnast, Alicia Sacramone, dropped her clothes as she posed for the ESPN Body Issue. The magazine, which hits newsstands Oct. 7, is supposed to give readers a look at an athlete's body. At Monday night’s Board of Selectmen meeting, the town unveiled a draft parking management plan. The magazine, which hits newstands Oct. 7, is supposed to give readers a look at an athlete's body. When asked why she posed for the issue, Sacramone told ESPN that "it's a huge honor and a cool opportunity. I wanted to show that you don't need to be 13 or 14 years old to be a gymnast. You can be older and still have good results. "When I first got the offer I was a little nervous. But then I thought, 'You've worn a leotard in front of a billion people; this isn't that different.' Winchester Gymnast Joins Tom Brady and Michael Phelps

Alicia Sacramone is the first gymnast to sign a partnership deal with Under Armour.

Winchester gymnast Alicia Sacramone will be joining a list that includes a three-time Super Bowl winner, a 16-time Olympic medalist and a gold medal skier. Under Armour, the company that sells sports apparel, announced on Thursday, August 18 that Sacramone has signed a sponsorship deal with the Maryland-based company. She joins Tom Brady, Michael Phelps and Lindsay Vonn, along with other athletes Under Armour has partnered with. Sacramone, who is also the first gymnast signed by the company, worked with the company on the design of a custom-made Under Armour leotard and will serve as a key Olympic ambassador for the brand. “Alicia’s commitment to training and her determination to perform at the highest level makes her an inspiration to …
