Alleged Serial Gun-Wielding Robber Arrested

Police believe that 19-year-old Taylor A. Goulding is connected to seven recent armed robberies in Winchester, Melrose, Stoneham, Woburn and Reading.

Stoneham Police have arrested a 19-year-old in connection with seven recent armed robberies in the area—including a Nov. 5 robbery at the Dairy Barn on Main Street in Winchester—police announced in a press release on Thursday morning. Taylor A. Goulding of Stoneham is charged with two counts of armed robbery while being masked and one count of attempted armed robbery while being masked for the three robberies that occurred in Stoneham on Oct. 30 at DB Mart, Nov. 1 at Sunset Tanning and Nov. 11 at C-Store. In each of those robberies, the suspect was described as a white male, wearing a black ski mask, black sweatshirt, black pants, black gloves, black and white sneakers, and brandishing a black handgun, according to Stoneham Police. Police: Armed Robber Strikes Again; Robs Reading Gas Station

Police believe a masked gunman who robbed a Gulf Gas Station in Reading late Thursday night is the same suspect in a Winchester armed robbery.

Police believe a masked gunman who robbed a Reading gas station late Thursday night is the same suspect in five Stoneham area armed robberies including Winchester and an attempted armed robbery Sunday night at a convenience store in Stoneham. The Gulf Gas Station on Main Street in Reading was robbed of several hundred dollars Thursday evening at approximately 10:45 p.m., according to Reading Police. The suspect was described as a white male, approximately six feet tall and 180 pounds. He was wearing black pants, a black sweatshirt with a hood and a mask.  The suspect made it a point to show his black handgun to the clerk before he took several hundred dollars, according to police. Police: Clerk Throws 'Chili Powder' in Gunman's Face, Thwarts Robbery

The same suspect that recently committed five armed robberies, including one in Winchester, in the area attempted a sixth Sunday night at a Main Street convenience store in Stoneham.

The same suspect that recently committed five armed robberies, including one in Winchester, in the area attempted a sixth Sunday night at a Main Street convenience store in Stoneham, according to Stoneham Detective Christopher Dalis. At 9:21 p.m. on Veterans Day, police responded to a report of an attempted armed robbery at the C-Store, 41 Main St. in Stoneham. "(The) suspect brandished a handgun; however, did not get any cash," Dalis said. "Clerk did not mace the suspect but did throw a cup of 'chili powder' in his face." The suspect fled the store toward George Street, according to Dalis, and a Massachusetts State Police K-9 unit was called in. Dalis said it is unknown if a getaway vehicle was used during the attempted armed robbery …

Police: Stoneham Armed Robber Also Hit Winchester

There was a nighttime armed robbery at the Dairy Barn in Winchester.

Five armed robberies have occurred recently at a Winchester business and Stoneham area businesses. Police said they believe the suspect in each case is the same person. Since Oct. 30, five armed robberies—including one at the DB Mart convenience store and another at Sunset Tanning in Stoneham—have taken place in the area, including one in Melrose, Winchester and Woburn, according to investigators. Somerville Man Indicted and Arraigned in Connection with Winchester Armed Robbery

Michael Wallace was in court on Tuesday for allegedly robbing the Dairy Barn in Winchester.

A Somerville man has been indicted and arraigned on charges alleging he robbed three convenience stores while armed, according to Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone. Michael Wallace, 44, was arraigned Tuesday in Middlesex Superior Court in Woburn on charges of armed robbery (3 counts), assault with a dangerous weapon, making threats, and being a habitual offender (4 counts). Middlesex Superior Court Clerk Magistrate Michael Sullivan ordered the defendant held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing. On June 15, at approximately 3:57 pm, Winchester Police responded to the Dairy Barn.
