Jubilation Singers Holiday Concert McCall Middle School's Jubilation Singers perform, along with the Winchester High School Chamber Singers and Octets and the All-Town Children's Chorus. There will be some surprise guests, too. It's at McCall Middle School Saturday at 7 p.m. Gingerbread House Workshop Swizzles Frozen Yogurt is running a gingerbread house workshop on Sunday at 12 p.m. It costs $10 per child, which includes all the materials for the gingerbread house, and some yogurt. Crowds of families turned out this Saturday for Art in the Park.

Town Common was bustling recently with a crowd of children and parents attending the Art in the Park event. There were arts and crafts activities set up for the kids to engage their creativity as well as live entertainment and the farmer's market. The kids tried their hands at painting, played at the crafts table, and learned pottery with local high school teacher Terry Lannon. Take a peek at some photos from the event.

Artists Light Up Venues at Downtown Receptions

Art gets personal when artists speak about their work.

With Winchester center transformed this month into a virtual art gallery residents find themselves surrounded by displays of fine art and artisan crafts. This visual palette of color, image and design takes on more meaning when the artists emerge from their studios and talk with visitors to the exhibits. In the first of three consecutive Thursdays Coldwell Banker and Winchester Wine and Spirits hosted receptions where artists were on hand to discuss their creative process from inspiration to final product.Their faces lit up as they spoke of their on-going love for their craft.
