Several readers complimented the Winchester Department of Public Works and the job they did clearing snow-covered roads during the blizzard.

After the blizzard of '13, Winchester has more than two feet of snow on the ground. Are the roads still covered in snow? Are the roads plowed yet? Tell us what you think about the condition of the roads in Winchester in the comments section below. Should the town have more plows out?
Regularly scheduled service should resume by Monday, according to MBTA.com.
Most MBTA services, including the commuter rail in Winchester, will remain suspended Sunday. However, a few services are coming back on-line for limited service. Looking to take the Green Line or the commuter rail in the Newton area? Well, you may want to keep shoveling out that car (or call a cab). Starting at 2 p.m., limited subway and bus service will run on the Red, Orange and Blue lines between Orient Heights and Government Center, and the Green Line between Kenmore and Lechmere, according to MBTA.com/weather. The blizzard forced Winchester businesses to operate on different hours, while residents struggled to dig themselves out of about two feet of snow following the blizzard of 2013. When the blizzard hit the Winchester area Friday and didn't conclude until midday Saturday, the town and its residents were left shoveling and snowblowing their driveways, walkways and other parts of their properties for hours.
