Elite Freestyle Karate Opens in Winchester

Elite Freestyle Karate held their grand opening on Saturday, Jan. 12 at 750 Main St. in Winchester.

Discipline. Confidence. Focus. These are just a few of the words that line the walls of Winchester's newest business: Elite Freestyle Karate. Dozens attended Elite Freestyle Karate's grand opening Saturday afternoon at its new location at 750 Main St. Prior to the Winchester studio opening, Elite Freestyle Karate had locations in Reading and Wilmington. With classes kicking off Tuesday, this dojo is the third in a triangle of karate studios aimed at not just teaching self defense but inspiring “spirit and perseverance ... focusing on the interaction between child, parents and instructor,” explained Sensei JD, one of Elite Freestyle Karate's high-degree black belts and teachers. Martial Arts Studio to Open Saturday in Winchester

Elite Freestyle Karate, 750 Main St., is expected to have a grand opening from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12.

A new martial arts studio will be opening its doors to customers Saturday morning in Winchester, according to an email from the lead instructor. Elite Freestyle Karate, which has two other locations in Reading and Wilmington, will be having a grand opening from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12 on the second floor at 750 Main St. in Winchester, according to an email sent to Winchester Patch from head instructor Tyler Stahl.
