The FDA announced a major recall of pet products that affects a number of brands. Kasel Associated Industries of Denver is voluntarily recalling all products manufactured at its Denver facility from April 20, 2012, to Sept. 19, 2012, because of possible Salmonella contamination. The brands included in the recall are Boots & Barkley, BIXBI, Nature’s Deli, Colorado Naturals, Petco, and Best Bully Stick items, according to the FDA. The FDA reported that Kasel has not received any reports of illnesses because of the possible contamination. Banana Boat sunscreen is being recalled after some of the products resulted in users catching fire, reported the Huffington Post. The voluntary recall includes UltraMist Sport, UltraMist Ultra Defense and UltraMist Kids. There have been five reports of people suffering burns after using the sunscreen in the past year, according to a spokesman of Energizer Holdings, which makes Banana Boat sunscreen.
