Winchester Foreclosure Activity Decreases in April
Massachusetts foreclosure activity, including Winchester, in April was lower than those recorded last year, according to the latest data from The Warren Group, publisher of Banker & Tradesman.
Completed foreclosures in Winchester and Massachusetts decreased in April, according to a Warren Group press statement. There were no foreclosure deeds, which represent completed foreclosures, recorded in Winchester during April, while there was one in April 2012. Foreclosure deeds declined more than 68 percent to 234 in April from 750 in April 2012 in Massachusetts, according to the statement. Statewide, a total of 995 foreclosure deeds have been recorded in the first four months of the year, down 69 percent from 3,215 a year earlier, the statement adds.
