Winchester Farmers Market Opens Saturday

The 2013 Winchester Farmers Market season gets underway Saturday, June 8 starting at 9:30 a.m. at the Town Common.

The 2013 Winchester Farmers Market season kicks off Saturday morning at the Town Common, according to an announcement. The farmers market is slated to run from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 8 at the Common, which is located near Church Street and Waterfield Road. Two dozen Winchester area vendors are expected to participate in the first farmers market of the year, including seven featuring fruits and vegetables, seven with breads and pastries, six with specialty foods and four with animal products.  The Winchester Chamber of Commerce table will include Rubiniart, Winchester Cooperative Theatre for Children and the Winchester Garden Club, according to the announcement. Mahoney's Winter Market Opens Saturday in Winchester

Mahoney's second annual Winter Market opens at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12.

Dozens of vendors will be displaying their wares when Mahoney's second annual Winter Market kicks off Saturday morning at the Garden Center located at 242 Cambridge St. The Winter Market, which opens Jan. 12, will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday until March 16, according to a Mahoney's Garden Center press statement. Local farmers, artisans and other area businesses will be selling their products, including root vegetables, herbs, fruits, cheeses, meats, seafood, baked breads, desserts, and olive oils, plus select jewelry and clothing, according to the statement.
