New Year's Baby First Born at Winchester Hospital in 2013

Hunter Joseph was born to Melissa Parziale of Arlington and Michael Sampson of Stoneham at 2:15 a.m. on Tuesday. He weighed 8 pounds, 10 ounces and was 21 ½ inches long.

A New Year's baby was the first born at Winchester Hospital in 2013, according to a hospital press statement. Hunter Joseph was born to Melissa Parziale of Arlington and Michael Sampson of Stoneham at 2:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 1, according to the statement. Hunter weighed 8 pounds, 10 ounces and was 21 ½ inches long. Parziale was at Winchester Hospital since Monday when her water broke 10 minutes before the New Year’s Eve ball dropped. She quickly went into labor and Hunter was born a few hours later, according to the statement. “The original due date was today, so I thought there was a chance the baby would be coming on New Year’s,” Parziale said in the statement. Both Parziale and Sampson praised the Winchester Hospital Labor & Delivery…
