An alarm was activated, according to police. Police noticed painted splinters of wood lying on a door mat outside. An interior door appeared to be damaged near the door knob, according to police. Appears a pry bar was used on the door and frame to gain entry to the home, according to police. Nothing appeared to be stolen, and the suspect(s) could not be located, according to police. A side door adjacent to the garage was kicked in, and the suspect(s) appeared to have entered the home through the basement door at the front of the house, according to police. The suspect(s) rummaged through boxes in the attic, but nothing was missing, according to police. Several pieces of jewelry, with some items valued between $2,000 and $6,200, were stolen from an armoire in the residence, according to …

Winchester Police Log: Arlington Man Accused of Drunk Driving

Evan Antonucci, 23, of 90 Thesda Road, Arlington, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehice under the influence of intoxicating liquor, marked lanes violation and speeding. The arrest came after Antonucci allegedly was unable to successfully complete sobriety tests, according to police. Antonucci was released on personal recognizance, according to police. A vehicle, described as a Land Rover-type SUV, reportedly ran over a "Keep Right" sign and also a "Down to Earth" landscaping sign. Police found tire tracks in the mud, according to the log. At 7:50 a.m. Feb. 22, police were called to the intersection of Johnson Road and Ridge Street on a report of a two-vehicle accident. No one was injured during the crash, and both vehicles were able to drive from the scene after sustaining only moderate damage, according to police. Police Log: Deer Killed in Accident, Theft at Winchester Salon & More

When arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.] Deer Killed in Motor Vehicle Accident At 11:46 a.m. Feb. 20, police called to Forest Street for a report of a motor vehicle hit-and-run incident that resulted in the death of a deer. A Winchester witness recorded the license plate number of the suspect vehicle which was a 2007 Lincoln Town Car, according to police. Police found an 80-pound doe laying in the eastbound lane of Forest Street and appeared to be deceased.
