Gini, we've been alternating Lexington and Concord homes for the past several months.

"Tele Gram,"
I don't often offer opinions here, but I'm going to make an exception. You're probably one of the few who does not believe this event did not receive "appropriate 'air' time."

Meg, you're right, to an extent. I was away from the site for a while earlier and things got a little out of hand here. Which is a shame, because as you pointed out, most readers are not interested in these guys' bickering.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and insights on the Battle Green and public assembly.

Eric, You're way off topic here and violating our Terms of Use. Quit it with the personal attacks and bring the conversation back on topic.
Aron, you too would do well to tone down the insults.

A few things...
"Frugal Fannie" is quoting directly from a post on NortheastShooter.com, which you can read in full here: http://www.northeastshooters.com/vbulletin/general-discussion/203931-lexington-bos-wave-victory-flag-marathon-attacker.html
It's not true that Lexington Patch reported the permits had been suspended before the meeting was held.
It is true that this article was initially posted at 3:22 p.m., and the portions of this article posted at that time are below the bolded and capitalized line saying "POSTED EARLIER TODAY."
The story was updated -- as the headline pretty clearly indicates -- following the BOS meeting. Those portions of the story are above the bolded and capitalized line saying "POSTED EARLIER TODAY."

Thanks, Carol
As I understand it, there won't be a part of Route 2 east closed, just access to Sandy Pond Road. I created a Mapquest widget that attempts to show the rough area affected, including the detour utilizing Baker Bridge Road over to Route 126.
