$700 Cash, Jewelry Stolen in Police Logs Sept. 12 Through Sept. 14

The following information was supplied by the Winchester Police Department.

2:20 p.m., September 12: A Kia Optima was traveling eastbound on Swanson Street. A Ford Taurus pulled out of a driveway. There were two parked vehicles and a tree blocking the Taurus’s view as it pulled out and hit the Kia.

2:01 p.m., September 13: Officers took a report of a tenant/landlord dispute on Iriving Street. Landlord claimed that a tenant throws their garbage on the back deck, including diapers and other waste materials. According to the landlord, the tenant has not paid rent in four months. This report will be used at a later time.

2:14 p.m., September 13: Officers responded to a report of a past dog bite, in which the owner of a four month old puppy was walking on Stratford Road at about 8:30 p.m. the night before. A yellow lab bit the puppy, according to the owner. The lab bit the owner of the puppy when he went to break up the fight. The man had wounds on his hands and scraped his knees on the sidewalk.

1:20 p.m., September 14: A vehicle on Everett Avenue struck a bicyclist. The bicyclist received minor injuries.

2:46 a.m., September 15: Officers responded to a heated argument in the street on George Road.

5:30 p.m., September 15: Officers responded to a past assault and battery at 10 Converse Place. A woman claimed that a man assaulted her the day before. Officers photographed the victim’s injuries and issued the man a citation.

6:39 p.m., September 15: Officers responded to a report of a past larceny at 140 Ridge Street. $700 cash and various pieces of jewelry had been taken from the master bedroom at some point within the last month.
