Winchester Police Arrest Watertown Man on Warrant
At 5:29 p.m. Aug. 4, Winchester police responded to Baldwin Street to serve an arrest warrant out of Waltham District Court, according to a police report. John Nee, 50, of 55 Corroll St., Watertown, was placed under arrest for allegedly violating his probation, according to the report. 

Aug. 3
9:14 a.m.: Police responded to the Transfer Station at Swanton Street for a report of larceny of flyers, according to a police report. A Winchester man was giving out flyers opposing the proposed CVS project that would be built at the corner of Washington and Swanton Streets, according to the report. He set down about 200 flyers in a folder near a conveyor belt, and later when he returned to get more flyers to distribute they were gone, the report adds. He became very angry about this and thought his First Amendment right to free speech was being violated, according to the report. 
9:58 a.m.: Police conducted a detail at the Middlesex Fells Reservation in the area of Fells Road and Hillcrest Parkway, according to a police report. Several people were given $50 civil citations for trespassing in North Reservoir, which serves as the town's water supply, according to the report.

10:11 a.m.: A Marshall Road resident visited the police station to report his bike was stolen while he was away on vacation at a camp in early July, according to a police report. The bike was described as "a Kink bike with a green frame and purple grips, chain, peddles, and sprockets," reads the report. The bike's estimated value was $300, the report adds.

Aug. 4
